Our Community

Who We Are
We are creative, kind, and wise beings here to explore, learn and grow together holistically.

We Know How to Make Learning Fun For Kids

Our homeschooling schedule allows families to chose how many days a week they want to participate. This gives parents the ability to teach their children what feels good to them, travel, and have 1-on-1 learning for strong family bonds. Each year, we create a community with our families and hope it lasts a lifetime.  Along with the core curriculum, we offer art, building, gardening, theater, music, foreign language, mindfulness, emotional maturity, organic farm visits, yoga, physical activity, forest school, cooking, and more.

Lohra Ballinger

Lohra Ballinger

Program Director

I graduated from Purdue University with academic honors in 1999 and continued my education at Florida Gulf Coast University Masters Program in Education. I started this program because I wanted my son to have access to alternative education that would nurture his spirit in a loving, non-competitive environment. I have a passion to share Waldorf-inspired learning with other families. With my partner Jerome’s support and guidance, we have been able to bring this school to life.

I believe our children should have lots of fun while they learn and am dedicated to providing a safe space for them to explore. I’m originally from Lourdes, France, but in the US for over 25 years. I’m also a professional percussionist, leading drumming class and performing in the B432 Band. I enjoy teaching the children French, drumming, outdoor play, and building/engineering with nature.
